Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following position:
- MORTUARY ATTENDANT
- GARDENER
QUALIFICATIONS FOR MORTUARY ATTENDANT
a. Must possess at least five (5) Credits in O’ Level Examinations at a maximum of two sittings, including English Language, OR a minimum of three (3) Credits in O’ Level at one sitting without English Language.
b. Should have basic knowledge of handling, preparation, and preservation of corpses.
c. Must be emotionally stable and possess the ability to work in sensitive and potentially distressing environments.
d. Must be physically fit and capable of performing duties such as lifting and moving of bodies respectfully and safely.
e. Should demonstrate confidentiality, attention to details, and the ability to follow strict health and safety protocols.
f. Prior experience in a Healthcare or Mortuary setting will be an added advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR GARDENER
a. Must possess at least five (5) credits in O’ Level examinations at a maximum of two sittings, including English Language, OR a minimum of three (3) credits in O’ Level at one sitting without English Language.
b. Should have basic knowledge of gardening maintenance, including mowing, weeding, and tidying up garden beds.
c. Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work, including lifting, digging, and prolonged standing.
d. Ability to maintain gardening tools for safe and effective use.
e. Must demonstrate responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
