Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho proudly unveiled its state of the art VIP Clinic, on Wednesday, 16th July, 2025. The Clinic was designed to cater to the unique needs of discerning individuals who value discretion, personalized attention and exceptional care. This facility was built upon the existing VIP clinic, offering an even more comfortable and premium services for our esteemed patients.
The commissioning ceremony was graced by an impressive array of dignitaries including the Chief Medical Director, BUTH, Prof Samuel Adegoke, The Chairman Medical Advisory Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Y.T Olasinde, The Director of Administration, Mr. S.O. Oladejo, The DCMAC, Dr. Oyewusi, Head, Nursing Services, Mrs. Alagbe, The HOD, Accounts, Rev Dr. Paul Akerele, Head, Information and Public Relations Unit, BUTH Head, Works & Maintenance and representatives from various units of the hospital.
Prof. Samuel Adegoke in his address highlighted the purpose of the Clinic to provide discreet, in-depth, fast and personalized services tailored to the specific needs of our VIP patients. He also revealed that the clinic would cater to the needs of Baptist Pastors, following a successful engagement with them last month. And as a token of appreciation to the Pastors, he said the Hospital had been offering them a 10percent discount on consultation only, which has now been graciously extended to cover drugs and laboratory services. He highlighted that the VIP Clinic would be led by a team of distinguished senior Consultants including Prof Idowu, (Dean, Clinical Sciences, BUI), Dr. James and Dr. Aremu (HOD Community Medicine) who would bring their expertise to the table.
Rev. Dr. Oyeniran, Chairman Pastor Fellowship, Ogbomoso Baptist Conference gave a brief exhortation and read from the book of Haggai 2: 8-9. He said that the Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso had been in existence for a long time and prayed that this clinic would be an abode for peace and sustainability for the Hospital. He further prayed that the purpose for setting up the clinic would be achieved.
He appreciated the CMD and other Principal Officers for their foresight and commitment while he prayed for continuous strength and wisdom.
