The Bowen University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Ogbomoso, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following position:
WASHERMAN
QUALIFICATIONS FOR WASHERMAN
a. Must possess at least five (5) Credits in O’ Level Examinations at a maximum of two sittings, including English Language, OR minimum of three (3) Credits in O’ Level at one sitting without English Language.
b. Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, loading/unloading laundry, and standing for an extended period.
c. Should have basic knowledge of washing techniques, stain removal, and safe handling of hospital linen.
d. Must be capable of operating or learning to operate industrial washing, drying, and ironing equipment.
e. Must demonstrate attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
f. Prior experience in a hospital laundry setting or commercial laundry service is an added advantage.
